Dhaka. Bangladesh Election Commission has sought a meeting with President Mohammad Shahabuddin to discuss the 12th National Parliament elections. The commission led by Qazi Habibul Awal has requested the President to give time between November 1 and 5. This information has been given in media reports quoting Banga Bhawan. According to Bangabhaban, Chief Election Commissioner Qazi Habibul Awal is likely to meet President Shahabuddin on November 5 regarding the announcement of the election schedule. Returning officers can be appointed along with finalizing the election schedule after discussion with the President. After this, Qazi Habibul Awal will announce the election program in his address to the nation on Bangladesh Television.
