Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal has directed through a circular that “all office bearers are instructed to maintain excessive discipline and continuity in public communication. People authorized to speak on behalf of the party should be limited to the status given by the CWC in the resolution passed on April 24, 2025.

Any violation of this instruction will invite strict disciplinary action without exception. Let us be conscious of the values and traditions of the Congress party and stand on the occasion with the dignity and restraint that the nation expects from us. “
