Addressing the journalists at the state Congress headquarters Rajiv Bhawan on Thursday, Congress national spokesperson Supriya Shrinet said that Congress has brought five guarantees to change the condition and direction of the country. Congress believes that in order to bring the women, youth, farmers and laborers of the country into the mainstream of development, they should get legal protection. For this, the Congress party has launched the slogans Farmer Justice, Youth Justice, Women Justice, Labor Justice and Equity Justice for the Lok Sabha elections. Supriya Srinet said that in women's justice, Congress has promised the women of the country that the Congress Center will implement Mahalaxmi Yojana for women. In which every woman will get one lakh rupees in a year i.e. Rs 8333 per month. The Congress government will recruit half of the women in central jobs. Central assistance to ASHA workers, Anganwadi and midday meal workers will be doubled if the Congress government is formed. To protect the legal rights of women, legal assistants will be appointed in every Panchayat. Hostels for working women will be built in all the district headquarters of the country.
Supriya Srinet said that in Kisan Nyay, Congress promises the farmers of the country that it gives five guarantees for the happiness and prosperity of the farmers. MSP will be given legal status. A permanent Agricultural Loan Waiver Commission will be set up to waive off the loans of farmers and determine the amount of loan waiver required. Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana will be redesigned to ensure guaranteed payment directly into the bank account of farmers within 30 days in case of crop loss. Farmers will be GST free. The GST system will be amended to exempt goods used in agriculture from tax. In Youth Justice, Congress gives five guarantees to the youth to provide them employment. Recruitment trust – 30 lakh new jobs as per calendar in Central Government, first job confirmed – Rs 1 lakh (8500/month) to every educated youth through one year apprenticeship, freedom from paper leaks – to stop paper leaks completely. One policy, social security in gig economy – better working conditions for youth in gig economy, Yuva Roshni, start-up fund for youth of Rs 5000 crore. Supriya Srinet said that similarly in labor justice, increasing the minimum wage of MNREGA from Rs 200 to Rs 400, health rights, urban employment guarantee, social security and secure employment. Under participatory justice, comprehensive social, economic and caste census, right to reservation – 50 percent limit on SC, ST, OBC reservation will be removed. Legal guarantee of SC, ST sub plan, legal title to water, forest, land – resolution of pending claims under Forest Rights Act within one year Apna Dharti, Apna Raj – where ST is the largest social group, they will be declared scheduled areas.
