Uttar Pradesh News Desk The fourth phase of construction of Ram temple started with the construction of Shikhar. On the first day of Shardiya Navratri, Vaastu puja was performed for the construction of the peak at an auspicious time. Amidst the chanting of Vedic mantras, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Area General Secretary Champat Rai and other trustees worshiped the base by placing a symbolic stone. On behalf of the host, this puja was done below instead of on the third floor. Again the process of placing the worshiped stone at its place was completed through machines. After this the Vedic Acharyas went to the third floor and worshiped.

It was told that lift could not be installed yet, hence iron stairs have been made temporarily for transportation. It can be dangerous for elderly people to climb these stairs. Due to this, out of caution, the worship was conducted downstairs. Vedic Acharya Durga Prasad Gautam and other Acharyas completed the rituals of worship at around 11.30 am in Abhijit Muhurta. During this, Building Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra, Pilgrimage Area Trustee Dr. Anil Mishra, Temple Construction Incharge Gopal Rao, L&T Project Director VK Mehta, TCE Project Director BK Shukla, former CBRI Chairman AK Mittal and Jagdish Afley were present. Experts from other contracted agencies were also present.

The height of the peak along with the flagpole will be 206 feet. According to the Building Construction Committee Chairman, the construction of the peak will be completed in four months i.e. February 2025. After the construction of this peak, a 45 feet high flag pole will be installed on it. In this way, including the flagpole on the 161 feet high peak, the total height will be 206 feet.

Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra General Secretary Champat Rai said that the metal of the flag pole installed on the peak of Ram temple is of a special type and its age is more than two hundred years. It is capable of withstanding sun, rain and gusts of wind for such a long time. This flag pole made in Ahmedabad was brought here long ago and kept in Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex.

According to the general secretary of the pilgrimage area, a lightning conductor and a light will also be installed on the peak of the Ram temple so that the airplane pilot from the sky can realize that there is a temple below. CBRI has also given its approval by testing the strength of the hook of the pole along with the flagpole.

Five forms of Lord Narvadeshwar brought from Khargone: Five different forms of Shivalinga of Lord Narvadeshwar from Khargone in Madhya Pradesh reached Ayodhya in the evening itself. These have been kept in Karsevak Puram.

Any one of these five Shivalingas is to be established in the temple under construction in the park with the consent of the trustees. At present, Building Construction Committee Chairman Nripendra Mishra, after inspecting the ongoing construction work in Ram Temple, went to Karsevak Puram and also inspected the Shivalinga. Three were separated, now one of them has to be selected. The decision has not been taken yet. A decision on this is expected soon.
