Corona active cases increased to more than 1200 in the country

New Delhi: In India, there is an increase in cases of Corona virus once again. According to the Ministry of Health, the number of active cases in the country has exceeded 1200. In states like Kerala, Maharashtra and Delhi, cases are increasing rapidly. States have been instructed to increase monitoring and vigilance.
The Kovid-19 isolation ward has been built at Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital in Delhi. Earlier, four patients were admitted here, after the report of two, only two patients are admitted. The condition of both patients remains stable and they are now feeling better. He was admitted four days ago due to shortness of breathing and high fever.
Conversation with the patient’s family
During a conversation with the patient’s family wearing a ppe kit, Anuj Dwivedi said, “My mother’s condition is stable, but still covid positive.” Anuj’s mother was admitted to RML Hospital four days ago. He first had an infection in the kidney, then suddenly started having trouble breathing. When the health deteriorated, the private hospital referred him to RML Hospital.
Kovid’s status in RML Hospital
Dr. Pawan Kumar, the nodal officer of Kovid-19 ward, said that at present, only two patients are admitted in the hospital and the condition of both is stable. Dr. Pawan said, “Although the current situation is not serious, people need to be vigilant. Avoid congestion and wear masks.”
According to Dr. Pawan, Kovid’s new variant is not more dangerous than the old variants. Symptoms such as cough and fever are being seen mainly in infected patients. However, nothing can be said about its infectious yet. He said that in the earlier waves, patients needed oxygen, ventilator and ICU, but there is no such situation at the moment.
Hospital preparations complete
The oxygen plant is already operational in RML Hospital and there is a complete arrangement of staff. If needed, the number of beds in the hospital can be increased from 100 to 400. Apart from this, a separate isolation center is also ready in the hospital.
