Kovid 19 cases coming up in the country
Thiruvananthapuram: The cases of Kovid 19 are once again coming out in the country. In Kerala, in May itself, 273 cases of Kovid-19 have been reported so far. Kerala Health Minister Veena George himself has given this information. Veena on Friday appealed to all the districts of the southern state to increase surveillance.
What did Kerala’s Health Minister say?
Veena George said, ‘Health department officials should closely monitor any increase in virus infection and take action immediately. In May, 273 cases of Kovid-19 were reported in Kerala. People with symptoms like cough, sore throat or problem of breathing should wear masks.
9 month old child infected in Bengaluru
Officials of Karnataka Health Department said on Friday, “A nine-month-old child in Bengaluru has been found infected with Kovid-19.” Harsh Gupta, Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, said, “The infection in the child was confirmed on 22 May through the ‘Rapid Antigen Test’ (RAT). The patient’s condition is stable and is currently admitted to Vani Vilas Hospital in Kalasipalya, Bengaluru.
What did the health department of Karnataka say?
A statement issued by the Health Department of Karnataka said, “32 of the 35 active cases of Kovid-19, which have been revealed in the state so far, are from Bengaluru.”
Andhra Pradesh Health Minister also revealed statement
Andhra Pradesh Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav said on Friday, ‘Four Kovid-19 cases have been reported in the state in the last 24 hours, out of which three are in Visakhapatnam and one in Rayalaseema region. A woman in Visakhapatnam was found infected with the Corona virus on Thursday, after which her family member and a medical student of postgraduate were also found infected on Friday. The infection of Kovid-19 has been confirmed in four people in the last 24 hours in Andhra Pradesh. Three women have been found infected in Visakhapatnam and 61 in Kadappa. (input language)
