Cricket ground became ‘runway of Segulas’, something happened in Samarset vs Nottinghamshire match that the game had to be stopped
On Sunday, there was a view that the cricket fans have ever seen before at the Cooper Associates Ground in Townon. In the ongoing County Championship Division One match between the Samarset and Nottinghamshire, a whole ‘army’ of segulas (seabar) came down on the ground, and the match had to be stopped for a few minutes.
It is common in cricket to stop the game due to rain, lights or injuries, but something happened in a match of the ongoing county championship in England, which was not only a player but also the fans were surprised. Indeed, a flock of sea birds (seagulls) suddenly threatened on the field during the ongoing match between Samarset and Nottinghamshire in Tantan.
This scene was seen when the 59th over of the Samarset’s innings was going on. Nearly the entire herd came around the pitch, due to which the umpires had to stop the match for some time in view of the safety of the players. The ground staff removed these ‘guest birds’ from the field with great love, then the match could start again.
The video of this funny incident was shared by Summerset on its official X (first Twitter) account, which is now becoming very viral on social media.

Although it was a mild and fun moment, but during the Big Bash League (BBL) in January this year, a sedony was lost in the match between Sydney Sixers and Melbourne Stars at Melbourne Cricket Ground. James Vince of England went straight to the Drive and hit the seagul and lost his life. At that time the game had to be stopped for some time and the fans were sad. But there was no such untoward such untoward, and the game returned to track again after a few minutes.
