The Indian players performed well on the entire tour and won nine matches despite the busy schedule, drew nine and lost in eight matches. However, despite all this, this was an impressive performance of Team India as he went to the England tour without some of his important players. It is important to know here that after the arrest of Mahatma Gandhi at that time, the Hindu Gymkhana boycotted the tour, which meant that the team did not have players like LP Jai, Vijay Merchant and Champak Mehta. Talk about the performance of some affected Indian players on this tour, CSK Naidu’s name comes at the top, who scored 1,618 runs on the tour and took 65 wickets. At this time England’s score was 19/3. However, despite all this, he eventually reached a score of 259, and India ended the first day at 30 runs without any loss.
