Iftikhar rahman on india tour of bangladesh 2025 schedule:

India has to visit Bangladesh in the month of August. Where 3-3 matches of ODI and T20 series are to be played between the two. But now this tour is in disarray. The indication of which is given by a senior Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) official. It is indicated that this tour will not be possible according to the schedule and changes in dates are possible.

The senior officer clarified that the visit is not being completely canceled, but only the dates can be changed. The series is part of the ICC’s Future Tours Program (FTP), whose first match was to be played in Dhaka on 17 August.

Only dates will change, series will not be canceled

According to an AFP report, BCB Media Committee Chairman Iftikhar Rahman has indicated that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has predicted a change in the series dates. Iftikhar Rahman told AFP, “There is no option to cancel the tour, but it can be re -determined by the consent of both boards.” He also informed that the possible delay of the series is dependent on getting necessary approval from the Indian government.

Questions are being raised on the time of the tour as the Government of India has not yet been allowed. It is believed that this delay is the result of the current diplomatic relations between India and Bangladesh and the recent political upheaval in Bangladesh. There is no official response from the BCCI on this issue yet. But if the Indian media reports are to be believed, the tour can be postponed till the government’s approval is received.
