CRPF car slipped into a 200 feet deep ditch

In Basantgarh area of Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir, a bunker train of CRPF jawans fell into a 200 feet deep ditch at 10:30 am on Thursday. 3 soldiers died in the accident, while 15 others were injured. According to the administration, the condition of 5 soldiers is critical.

According to CRPF officials, ‘The car was carrying a team of soldiers, who slipped from the road and fell down from the standing slope. 3 bodies have been recovered from the spot, while several injured soldiers have been rescued in critical condition and admitted to a nearby hospital.

On July 16, a mini bus fell into a ditch in Gumri in Kargil district of Ladakh. In the accident, 2 passengers died on the spot, while 8 people were seriously injured. The other 6 suffered minor injuries.
