Chennai Super Kings continue to perform poorly in IPL 2025 and in this episode they also lost against Sunrisers Hyderabad, due to which their expectations of reaching the playoffs this season are almost over. Following this defeat, CSK head coach Stephen Fleming made a big statement that the franchise has made a mess in the mega-auction in 2024.
After the defeat against Hyderabad, Fleming said, “We are considering in detail about our way of playing. Also seeing how the game is developing and it is not easy. That’s why we are proud of our performance today. We have been able to perform well for so long and it has not taken much time to extend it in other ways. Other teams have not been better to extend it.
Speaking further, Fleming said, “You take responsibility from top to bottom and then you ask the players a little more. But yes, this is an area where we need to think and say that it was not as good as we could or not as we wanted. Some major injuries, a little shortage in the form, a little shortage.
