Arguably New Zealand and CSK star batsman Devon Conway is one of the most unlucky batsmen in recent time. He missed a few number of centuries by only a few runs. He has been dismissed several times in the 90s, famously known as the ‘nervous 90s’.

New Zealand have strengthened their position on the second day of the Bengaluru Test match against India. The Kiwi team pushed the Indian team back in the first session of the second day, batting aggressively from the beginning of their innings. The New Zealand team started well by dismissing India for a total score of just 46 runs in the first inning.

Conway remained at the crease even after reaching the half-century landmark; he continued rotating strikes in a quick manner. He was moving fast towards his century, but Ravichandran Ashwin did not let it happen. Ashwin bowled Devon Conway on a personal score of 91 runs, denying him a century. With three scores in the 90s, Conway climbed in the list of most 90s for the Black Caps in Test cricket, making him one of the unlucky cricketers in the game. .

By the end of the second day’s play, New Zealand had scored 180 only for 3 wickets. As far as the lead is concerned, it has become 134 runs. By stumps, Rachin Ravindra was playing on 22 and Daryl Mitchell on a personal score of 14 runs. Spinners took all three wickets for India. Ashwin, Jadeja, and Kuldeep got 1-1 wickets. The third day’s game is going to be important now. The Kiwi team will definitely try to put pressure on Team India while taking a big lead.
