Beijing: Czech Republic President Petra Pavel met the Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama. China has gone to this meeting. China said it has decided to end all kinds of relations with the Czech Republic President Petra Pavel due to the recent meeting with Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama. China’s Foreign Ministry also said that Beijing has also lodged a diplomatic protest before the Czech Republic regarding the meeting of Pavel and Dalai Lama.
What did China say?
In response to a question asked about Powell’s meeting, the Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said, “Czech President Petra Pavel went to India and met the Dalai Lama, disregarding China’s repeated opposition and strong objections.” The spokesperson said on the official website of the ministry, “This check is a serious violation of the political commitments made by the government by the government and damages China’s sovereignty and regional integrity.”
‘China is strongly condemned’
A spokesman for the Ministry of External Affairs said, “China strongly condemns it and strongly opposed it, and has lodged a strong opposition before the check side. Given the seriousness of this provocative action of Pavel, China has decided to end all kinds of relations with him.”
