Actress Ashima Vardhan Jain is going to step into Bollywood with Waves Originals’ new Hindi feature film ‘Daila Bella: Badalgi Kahani’. The film is the story of their fight against women’s self-esteem, identity and conservative thinking in the backdrop of small cities.

A dialogue of the film “I have all done this for you, not for yourself”, according to Ashima, shows the real thinking of today’s girls. He believes that the film is not only entertainment, but it also shows a mirror to the society.
Ashima’s character: ‘Dolu’
Ashima is playing the role of a coaching student named ‘Dolu’ in the film, who prepares to become a doctor but also has an inclination towards fashion designing. Nickname ‘Daila Bella’ given by coaching friends became the title of the film.

The film has been shot at real locations in Barabanki, Lucknow and Mumbai. Ashima says that the team’s support during the shoot and the guidance from senior actors was memorable for her.

The film’s director Nilesh K. Jain’s direction was inspiring for Ashima. He taught that the artist should stay in his real nature. “Whatever be, look the same” – this was the director’s learning.
