New Delhi. The 71st National Film Awards were announced at the National Media Center in the capital Delhi on Friday. Central Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwin Vaishnav has announced the names of the award winners at 6 pm. Jury watched more than 115 films in 22 languages to give these titles and gave its nominations. The Best Director Award has been won by The ‘First Film’ for Hindi language. The film is directed by Piyush Thakur. The Best Short Film Award has been awarded to Gulture The Skweezer in Hindi language, which has been directed by Manish Saini.

Best non -feature film The Silent Epidemic

Let us know that ‘The Silent Epidemic’ has received the National Award for Best Non feature film in Hindi language. The film is directed by Akshat Gupta. The film addresses road accidents and civil awareness. At the same time, the Best Documentary Award has been received by ‘God Vulture and Human’. This documentary has been directed by Rishiraj Aggarwal. Best Arts/Culture Film Award has been received by Tamil Nadu film. It is made in English language and directed it by Kamakhya Narayan Singh. The Best Biology film award has been received by the film Ma Bau Mo Gaan (Meri Maa Mera Village), made in Oriya language. The film is directed by Sanjeev Prasar.

National Film Award Live: Best Garo Film-The Best Garo film award was received by ‘Remdogitanga’ (rapture).

71st National Film Award Live: Best Telugu Film-Ramkumar Balakrishnan’s ‘Parking’ received the Best Tamil (feature) film award.

71st National Film Award: Best Punjabi Film-The best Punjabi (feature) film was awarded to Vijay Kumar Arora’s ‘Godde Goddade Cha’.

71st National Film Award: Best Oriya Film-Shubhranshu Das’s ‘Pushkra’ received the best Oriya (feature) film.

National Film Award 2025 Live: Best Choreography-The best choreography award was given to ‘Dhindora Baje Re’ (Hindi) of ‘Rocky Aur Rani’s Prem Kahani’. The choreography was done by Vaibhavi Merchant.

71st National Film Award: Best Editing-The best editing award was given to ‘Pukkalam’ (Malayalam).
