Deepika Kakkar Stage 2 is struggling with liver cancer and was admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai for the last 11 days. Now Deepika has given good news to her fans. The actress has confirmed that she is now ‘free from tumor’, but she said that further treatment is still needed. Deepika expressed gratitude to the medical team, her family and fans in a soulful post on Instagram and thanked them. Sharing his photos of the hospital, he wrote, ’11 days here and now at home, free from tumor, but it is a part of treatment. The rest will be in the coming time and I am sure I will be able to overcome it as I said earlier.
Remember 11 difficult days
Deepika remembered the 11 difficult days spent in the hospital and appreciated the care she got. He wrote, ‘These 11 days were difficult, but everything happened easily due to the amazing people around us. There was a problem, but everyone in Kokilaben Hospital handled everything very warmly. He also thanked fans for his unwavering love and support. He said, ‘And my greatest strength is that love, prayer and blessing that you all have shown to me, thank you from heart. Got a lot of courage to see everyone’s love. Deepika’s husband Shoaib Ibrahim gave more information in a blog. He said, ‘Everything is fine now, but we have crossed only one milestone. There are still many things that we have to look into. He confirmed that the surgery was successful and Deepika was recovering, but the situation is being monitored. He told, ‘The tumor was fatal. That situation should be monitored. Also, they have asked us to come back in a week. After that they will decide what further treatment is needed.
Cancer came out after stomach ache
This treatment journey of Deepika began when she had severe stomach pain, after which the tumor was detected in her liver. The tests confirmed that it was stage 2 cancer, which required immediate surgical intervention. Deepika and Shoaib are now back home and are doing everything one by one, treatment is expected in the coming weeks.
