Now, Shoaib has made a new disclosure about Deepika’s health after recovery. He told that the actress will have to go through targeted therapy next week. Shoaib Ibrahim spoke about Deepika Kakkar’s Stage 2 liver cancer surgery and said that recently the surgery was completed on July 3.

Shoaib remembered the day of June 3 when he was eagerly waiting for Deepika’s surgery to end. After a month passed, the doctor called him for compulsory examination. Shoaib told that he was planning to meet an oncologist. He told that doctors would advise him about the next stages of his treatment. Deepika talked about further treatment, its side effects and all these things. After meeting the doctor, Shoaib gave information about the treatment suggested for Deepika. He said that his condition is fine after surgery, but the oncologist advised him to take a walk. However, we have asked to avoid yoga and weight lifting. They have been advised to avoid eating outside food and eat homemade food.

Deepika will have targeted therapy after cancer surgery

Shoaib Ibrahim said, ‘As far as the body is concerned, there are no cancer cells present after surgery. However, the biopsy report we received and the PET scan we saw indicated the situation and serious. There is a danger of cancer again. Further, the actress of ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ has decided to move forward according to the solution suggested by the doctors. Shoaib said that chemotherapy in liver cancer cases is usually ineffective, so doctors told them two options: immunotherapy or targeted therapy. Deepika has been advised to adopt targeted therapy, for which Deepika has to take medicines daily at home. He further stated that doctors have also said that the dose can only be converted into immunotherapy when symptoms of cancer are seen again in the future. He said that treatment is expected to last for one to two years and said that things will become easier after two years. Shoaib said that Deepika will have to scan every three months and further treatment depends on her recovery.
