Government’s planning to clean Delhi’s air

At present, breathing in Delhi has become like playing with one’s health. The air quality in Delhi is worsening day by day. A thick blanket of smog is spread over the sky. To remove it, Delhi Government sought permission from the Central Government to get artificial rain done. Smog can be removed through artificial rain. The government is taking this step

Apart from this, if we talk about it, the central government is already taking many steps to control air pollution. The Central Government had started the National Clean Air Program to control air pollution. In which 102 cities were included in which Delhi was also named. To stop pollution in Delhi, the government has launched Sameer MP which is for reporting any activity causing air pollution.

Fourth phase of Graded Response Action Plan implemented

The government implements Grade Response Action Plan i.e. GRAP as soon as it sees the level of pollution. In view of the pollution situation in Delhi, the government has implemented the fourth phase of Grade Response Action Plan. As soon as it is implemented, all types of construction and demolition works in Delhi have been completely banned, entry of trucks and heavy vehicles has been stopped in Delhi, only essential vehicles are being given entry. So with this the decision has been given to run all the schools in online mode. The exercise of running work from home has been started in most of the government and private offices. Odd-even system can also be implemented for vehicles in Delhi soon.

Air quality monitoring system installed

More than 37 air quality monitoring stations have been set up by the government in Delhi-NCR. At these stations, the government has the facility to track real-time pollution levels. The use of which helps in taking necessary steps immediately when the level of pollution increases.

CNG- promotion of electric vehicles

To ensure that the air quality in Delhi does not deteriorate, the number of diesel-petrol vehicles is being continuously reduced. Vehicles running on CNG gas are being promoted by the government. So along with that the sale of electric vehicles is also being added. Even in public transport, now most of them are electric or CNG based.
