New Delhi: A Delhi court is likely to pronounce its order on Tuesday on the regular bail plea filed by Engineer Rashid, an independent Lok Sabha MP from Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla, in a terror funding case.
Additional Sessions Judge Chander Jeet Singh, who on September 10 had granted interim bail to Engineer Rashid, also known as Sheikh Abdul Rashid, to allow him to campaign for the assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, had earlier granted him The order on the regular bail petition was postponed.
Rashid has been lodged in Tihar jail since 2019 after he was arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act in a 2017 terror funding case.
