Jakobabad: Pakistan’s Jaffer Express has derailed after a strong explosion. It is being told that after a sharp explosion on the tracks in Jakokabad, 4 coaches were derailed. It is being told that this train was going from Peshawar to Kota. But after the sharp explosion, four bogies of Jaffar Express derailed near Jakobabad on Tuesday. Railway officials and local administration have started relief work by reaching the spot.
All passengers safe
No passenger’s death or serious injury was reported in this accident. All passengers have been safely taken out and under alternative arrangements they are being sent to their destination. The causes of the explosion are being investigated. Some sources have feared that it may be a conspiracy or sabotage, although official confirmation has not been done yet.

After the incident, the work of repairing the railway track has been started rapidly and the movement of other trains has been temporarily prevented. When Jafar Express was held by Bla hostage
The Jafar Express runs between Peshawar in Pakistan to Quetta. Just a few months ago it was taken hostage by the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA). This incident is considered a symbol of serious security lapse and internal conflicts in Pakistan’s railway history. During the incident, more than 400 passengers were taken hostage by the armed fighters of BLA in a deserted area. Their purpose was to register their protest against the alleged human rights abuses in Balochistan and the presence of the army. However, there was a bloody war between Pakistani security forces and BLA. Both sides were damaged. The BLA then voluntarily left the passengers. (PTI)
