What is the story of the film?
The story of the film is based on an Indian mythology in which a king named Hinyakashyap takes the form of a demon. When he asks for a unique boon by doing harsh penance and wants to achieve immortality. Then Prahlada is born and they try to turn him towards devotion. But the king becomes a demon, the king starts torturing Prahlada inverted and then Lord Vishnu has to incarnate Narasimha. The story of Holika Dahan is also related to this legend. The film is fully animated and has been directed by Ashnin Kumar. The story of the film is written by Jayapuran Das, Ashnin Kumar and Rudra Pratap Ghosh.

The movie is made under Hombale Films and Cleem Productions banners. The production house has revealed that the story of Mahavatar Parashurama will be released in 2027 after ‘Maha Avatar Narasimha’. After this, Mahavatar Raghunandan is scheduled to be released in 2029.
