Dhruv Jurel Record: India’s young wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurlel made a record in the Oval Test against England which was not the name of any Indian cricketer till now. In the decisive match of the series against England at Oval, he also contributed to the team’s victory with brilliant wicketkeeping on important occasions.

UP’s wicketkeeper batsman Dhruv Juril took a unique record in Indian cricket as soon as he landed in the Oval Test on Monday. 23 -year -old Jurael has played 5 Test matches so far and Team India has won every time. That is, he has been undefeated till now in Test career.

This record is made by a player for the first time in Indian cricket. This record in world cricket is named after West Indies all -rounder Aldin Baptist, who played 10 Tests between 1983 and 1990 and never faced defeat.

Jurael’s Test journey has also been quite interesting. He made his domestic series debut against England last year, when Rishabh Pant was out of injury. In that series, he scored 190 runs in four innings at an average of 63.33, but was ruled out of the team after Pant’s return.

In the first Test of the 2024-25 Border-Gavaskar Trophy, he got a chance again, but could not do anything special with the bat. He also got a chance in the fifth Test due to Pant’s injury to his role on the tour of England, where he scored 19 in the first innings and 34 runs in the second innings.

Talk about the wicket keeping, his performance behind the wicket was sometimes unstable during the series, but on the last day of the Oval Test, he did not let a single by-run while doing brilliant keeping in difficult circumstances and played an important role in winning India by 6 runs.
