Diabetic fast food list for Sawan fast:

1. Morning Falahar (7-9 am):

– A bowl mix fruit (eg papaya, guava, apple, which has low glycemic index)

– A glass of lukewarm lemonade without sugar.

– A handful of soaked almonds or walnuts.

2. Mid-day meal at 12-2 pm:

– Sago khichdi, which has low peanuts, can take it in small amounts.

– Suma rice khichdi or upma containing less salt and ghee.

– Rajgira Paratha with curd, in which less ghee is used.

– 1 bowl cucumber and tomato salad.

3. Breakfast at 4-6 pm:

– A glass of salt without salt.

– Roasted makhana in low ghee.

– Low-fat milk or green sugar tea

4. 7-8: 30 pm at night fruit / light meal:

– 1 bowl of rice khichdi

– If you digest at night, then a bowl of curd

– Buyed gourd in small amounts

– Salad or lemonade

5. You can eat in Sawan fast.

– Sago, Sama Rice, Kuttu Flour, Singhada Flour

– Potato, sweet potato (limited quantity for diabetes)

– Yogurt, milk, cheese

– Fruit- Papaya, Apple, Guava

– Dried dry fruits- almonds, walnuts, makhana

– rock salt, ghee, cumin, ginger

6. Precautions for diabetic fasting:

Do not be completely hungry – long fasting can drop sugar down.

Avoid sweet fruits (banana, mango, chiku, grapes).

Use rock salt in salt.

Do not consume too much sago and potatoes.

Drink water from time to time.

Do not forget the time of insulin or medicines.
