Although the film was planned to release on OTT earlier, but then the deal was postponed for a year and the makers decided that the film would be released in theaters. Meanwhile, the OTT platform also pulled its hands back. As a result, the film ‘The Lady Killer’ sold only 293 tickets on its first day, which earned Rs 38,000, which is one of the lowest opening for any film so far. In a few days, the film got down from the screen and could sell less than 500 tickets and that is why the film collected less than a lath, which was just Rs 60000. There was no promotion of the film, Arjun and Bhumi also kept silence on it. In such a situation, this film died on screen.
