Diljit Dosanjh’s ‘Sardar Ji 3’ created a ruckus
Famous Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh is now engulfed in controversies over his upcoming film ‘Sardar Ji 3’. Diljit released the trailer of his film ‘Sardar Ji 3’ on Instagram on 22 June, in which Pakistani actress Hania Aamir was also seen with Diljit. Now the singer is being severely criticized for the casting of this horror-comedy film. Directed by Amar Hundal, ‘Sardar Ji 3’ is scheduled to release abroad on June 27, 2025. However, there has been a ruckus about the presence of Hania in the film. Along with social media users, the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) and All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) have also expressed their displeasure and decided to ban Diljit Dosanjh in India.
FWICE President BN Tiwari expressed displeasure
BN Tiwari, president of the Federation of Western India Cine Employees, expressed his displeasure over the presence of a Pakistani actress in Diljit Dosanjh’s film in a conversation with NDTV. He told during the conversation that he has decided to issue instructions to ban Diljit Dosanjh and other producers of the film in India. BN Tiwari said – ‘If this film is released anywhere, then we will issue instructions for complete non -cooperation. We will ensure that Diljit Dosanjh does not get a chance to work (film or concert) in any part of India. If he is adamant on the decision to release the film, he will not get work in India.
Aicwa also opened a front against singer
Along with FWICE, the All Indian Cine Workers Association has also decided to ban Diljit Dosanjh in India. The post shared by X on the association wrote- ‘We announce a complete boycott of singer, actor and producer Diljit Dosanjh from the Indian film industry. We urge all Indian manufacturers, production houses, music companies, program organizers and film workers to unite and not to join Diljit Dosanjh in any professional capacity. ‘ Along with this, FWICE has also written a letter to CBFC to stop Diljit Dosanjh and Hania Aamir’s film sensor certificate.
