Dilshan Madushanka composed history, Chaminda Vas with ODI hat -trick and Lasith Malinga’s club
Dilshan Madushanka Hat-TRICK: Sri Lankan young fast bowler Dilshan Madushanka did charisma in the first ODI played against Zimbabwe. While saving 10 runs in the last over, he completed the hat -trick by taking wickets for three consecutive balls. Along with this hat -trick, Madushaka joined the list of selected veterans of Sri Lanka in which veterans like Chaminda Vas and Lasith Malinga are present.
On Friday (August 29), Dilshan Madushaka created history in Zimbabwe vs Sri Lanka first ODI played in Harare. In the last over of Zimbabwe’s innings, when the hosts needed 10 runs and Sikander Raza was standing on 92, the left -handed fast bowler overturned the match. He first dismissed Raza, then sent a spectacular hat -trick by sending Brad Evans and Nagarwa to the pavilion on the next two balls.
With this amazing, Madushaka became the eighth Sri Lankan bowler to take a hat -trick in ODI cricket. Earlier, Chaminda Vas and Lasith Malinga have done this feat more than once. The special thing is that this is the 11th time when a Sri Lankan bowler has taken a hat -trick in ODIs.

Talking about the match, Sri Lanka batted first and scored 298 runs in 50 overs. The magnificent innings of Pathum Nisanka (76), Janith Liange (70*) and Kamindu Mendis (57) brought the team to a strong score. In response, Sikander Raza (92) and Scene Williams (57) showed tremendous combinations for Zimbabwe, but in the last over, the hat -trick of Madushak in the last over destroyed all their expectations.
Sri Lanka won this exciting match by 7 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the two-match series. This performance of Dilshan Madushaka was not only memorable for the team, but was also given a place in the list of the biggest veterans of Sri Lankan cricket.
