Dino Moriya questioned in sweet river scam, actor reached Eow office with brother Santino

The investigation of Mumbai’s famous sweet river scam is now getting deeper. He appeared in the office of the Economic Offenses Branch on Monday morning after the name of Bollywood actor Dino Moriya surfaced in this scam. If sources are to be believed, Moriya arrived at around 11 am to record his statement in front of the investigating officers. According to EOW sources, the investigators were summoned to Dino Moriya after finding out the phone several times between his, his brother and the main accused Ketan Kadam. The nature and reference of these conversations are currently being investigated.

It is being told that there have been many shocking revelations in the EOW investigation so far. The latest update has revealed that there has been several conversation between Dino Moriya, her brother and the main accused in the scam Ketan Kadam. Recording and data of these calls are now on the radar of investigating agencies. Let me tell you that Dino Moriya was last seen in Ishaan Khattar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer web series The Royal. This series has been released on Netflix this month.

What is the sweet river scam?

The scam is associated with the purchase and sale of sluds used by the Mumbai Municipal Corporation in cleaning the sweet river. It is alleged that these machines were rented at high prices from Kochi’s company Matpopop Raknical Services Private Limited and were huge financial irregularities. Ketan Kadam and Jai Joshi are said to be the main accused in the case. Both of them are accused of scam of crores of rupees with connivance with the officials of the Matpop Company and the Storm Water Drainage Department of BMC. The Municipal Corporation has suffered a loss of more than Rs 65.54 crore in the alleged Dysilting scam of the sweet river.
