Relationships deteriorated after the fly
Let me tell you that after the military clashes in the Galwan Valley in June 2020, relations between India and China reached a lower level. The clash was the most horrific military clash between the two sides in the last few decades. Lavarov had hoped that Russia-India-China trilateral dialogue would start soon, citing signs of improvement in relations between India and China. Lavrov also said that so far this group has held more than 20 ministerial meetings not only at the level of foreign ministers, but also at the level of other economic, trade and financial agencies of the three countries.
