In 1978, a controversy over Vijay Anand arose when during the shooting of the film ‘Ram Balaram’, he got married to his elder sister’s daughter Sushma Kohli and got married to his elder sister’s daughter Sushma Kohli. When Vijay married Sushma, he was not divorced from the first wife Lavalin Thadani. Her family also got fiercely raised about her marriage to Sushma. Later there was a son from this marriage, which the couple named Vaibhav. Vaibhav is also associated with the film industry.
Vijay Anand was a person of calm nature
In an interview to Filmfare in 2018, Sushma Kohli spoke about her husband Vijay Anand and her nature and told that Vijay was very shy in real life. Sushma had said, ‘He was a very calm person. He could never get angry, but I used to sit sometimes angry. We got married in 1978 during the shooting of ‘Ram-Balaram’.
