While sharing the photo, Rakesh Roshan wrote in the caption- ‘This week was really shocking, during the regular body health check-up, the doctor who was doing a sonography of the heart suggested me to get a neck sonography. Although I had no symptoms, but by chance we came to know that both my carotid arteries that still go to the brain had more than 75% blocks. It can be dangerous if it is ignored. ‘

Rakesh Roshan further writes- ‘I immediately admitted myself to the hospital and got the preventable procedure. Now I am fully recovering and come back home and hopefully I will return to my workout soon. I hope that this will inspire others to take care of their health, especially in the case of heart and brain. Heart CT and Carotid brain artery sonography (which is often completely ignored) is necessary for all people above 45–50 years old. I think it is important to remember that prevention is always better than treatment. I wish you a healthy and aware year for all of you. ‘
