These people had promised actress Disha Patani’s father that they would get her a high-ranking position in a government commission, for which this gang had also taken Rs 25 lakh.
Police is investigating the entire matter
According to Bareilly Kotwali in-charge DK Sharma, a case has been registered on behalf of Jagdish Singh Patni against Shivendra Pratap Singh, Diwakar Garg, Juna Akhara Acharya Jai Prakash, Preeti Garg and an unknown person late on Friday evening. A case has been registered against him under sections 34, 420, 406, 506 and 384 BNS on charges of cheating, forgery and defrauding money. The in-charge said that preparations are being made to conduct raids after identifying the locations of all these people.
Gang links are connected to Delhi
According to the information, when Jagdish Patni asked the accused to return the money, they also threatened him, after which Patni had to go to the police. It is being told that Shivendra Pratap Singh is a resident of Bareilly, Diwakar Garg is a resident of Delhi, whereas the police has no information about Preeti Garg. Along with this, Acharya Jaiprakash is said to be from Haridwar. The police is currently busy investigating the entire matter.
