This date will last for 16 minutes on the next day i.e. 1st November at 6 pm. Therefore, it will be celebrated only on the night of 31st October. The puja takes place after Pradosh Kaal. Therefore, this time Lakshmi Puja, Kali Puja and Nishith Kaal Puja will be held on the night of 31st October. Midnight puja will also be held on 31st October only.
However, some rituals related to special puja will be performed on 1 November. Charity and ancestral work will have to be done in the morning on 1st November. According to the calendar, every year Diwali (Diwali 2024) is celebrated in the dark fortnight of Kartik month. This time the expiry date will end on 1st November, Friday at 06:16 PM. Whereas, the last date will start on Thursday, October 31 at 03:52 pm.

During Diwali (Diwali 2024), the auspicious celebration for Lakshmi Puja will last from 05:12 to 10:30. You can worship Lord Ganesha and Mother Lakshmi till 10:30 pm on 31st October. In such a situation, it is necessary to donate lamps on the night of 31st October. In Jaipur too, more than 100 astrologers have agreed that October 31 is the correct date of Diwali. Mother Lakshmi will appear at auspicious time
The festival will be celebrated on 31st October at Govinddev Ji Temple in Jaipur. Diwali will be celebrated on Thursday, 31st October this year. Govardhan Puja is the next day of Diwali (Diwali 2024). It is also known as Deepdaan festival. Govardhan Puja will be held on 2nd November. The festival of Bhai Dooj is celebrated on the second day of Shaal Paksha of Kartik month. This year Bhai Dooj will be celebrated on 3rd November.
