During the 32nd convocation at a university in Tamil Nadu, the DMK leader’s wife did not take a degree by ignoring Governor RN Ravi. Instead, he obtained a degree from the Vice Chancellor.

The governor was the chief guest at the ceremony, all the passouts had to get a degree from him. At the same time, a woman who does not take the degree is Jean Joseph, wife of Nagerkoil Deputy Secretary M. Rajan of DMK.

In fact, there has been a long dispute between the Government of Tamil Nadu and Governor Ravi about enacting laws. The Governor had stopped 10 bills of DMK government. The Supreme Court later described the move as wrong and unconstitutional.

During the convocation of the Manonmanium Sundranar University (MSU) at Tirunelveli, the DMK leader’s wife Jean Joseph arrives on the stage to get a degree, she had to receive the degree from the Governor’s hand, but she goes to the Vice Chancellor standing next to her and takes a degree from them.

During this time, Governor Ravi seems to be pointing to him smiling, but she ignores it. At the same time, after taking the degree, she says “Thank you”, to which the Governor shook heads and responds.
