Puja Ghar is a very sacred place in the house. By doing puja daily, negative energy remains away from the house and positive energy continues to flow. Almost everyone makes a place of worship in their homes. People sit at the place of worship at home and meditate on their favorite deity. Special attention should be paid to cleanliness and purity at the place of worship in the house. Due to the presence of some objects around the home temple, you do not get any results from the worship and you have to face ill effects. If a person places pictures of ancestors or forefathers around the temple (Puja Ghar) of his home, then the person may see bad results. The family faces many problems due to placing pictures of ancestors around the puja room. In such a situation, the pictures of ancestors should be removed from there immediately. The south direction is considered best for placing pictures of ancestors.

Conch shells are also kept in the home temple (Puja Ghar), but it is said in the scriptures that not more than one conch shell should be kept in the temple.

1. According to Vastu, the puja room in the house should be made in the North-East direction.
2. Always keep in mind that while worshiping, your face should be towards the east.
3. Pooja room should never be built on the balcony, terrace or under the stairs.
4. Red color should be used as much as possible inside the puja room.
5.The temple should not be placed under any beam.
6. Making a temple in kitchen, master bedroom etc. creates a Vaastu defect.
7. Making pooja room along the toilet wall generates negative energy in the house.
