Today’s meeting attended Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi and Organization General Secretary KC Venugopal. In this meeting held today by the central leadership of the party, the states were advised not to repeat the mistakes made in Madhya Pradesh.

What happened in the meeting?

According to sources, in today’s meeting, the central leadership appeared angry with the unit of Madhya Pradesh. Recently, the central leadership expressed its displeasure over the case of disturbances in the appointment of district presidents in the state. At the same time, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi instructed the leaders to appoint district presidents by taking transparency in the coming days and there should not be disturbances like Madhya Pradesh in other states. However, the central leadership appeared satisfied with the appointment of district presidents in Haryana and Gujarat.

Why did Madhya Pradesh spoil?

In fact, there is anger about the appointment of district presidents in 14 to 15 districts in Madhya Pradesh. In many districts, a person from another district has been made president, so in many places a person has been given the responsibility of the district whose image is not good. Pratibha Raghuvanshi is a resident of Khandwa in Khandwa. The district president of Indore City Agar has been made a person from Indore Rural. There is anger over the appointment in many districts including Bhopal city, Ujjain Rural, Indore, Dewas, Ujjain.

The advice to not repeat the mistake

Along with this, there has been a circulation in the Congress that the Congress makes a person of General category district president in the reserved assembly and reserved Lok Sabha seat, but this time this tradition was also not played in Madhya Pradesh. Therefore, the high command appeared angry with the state unit and the leadership of the rest of the states was also advised not to repeat such a mistake.
