Chaturmas and Lord Vishnu’s yoga sleep
Due to this commitment, Lord Vishnu resides in Patal Lok every year during Chaturmas (from Ashada Shukla Ekadashi to Kartik Shukla Ekadashi) and resides in King Bali in Patal Lok and remains absorbed in Nidra. This period is considered from Devshayani Ekadashi to Devuthani Ekadashi.
