The film ‘Hera Pheri 3’ is in the news these days. Recently Paresh Rawal left the film. Babu Rao, the character of Paresh in the first two parts of ‘Hera Pheri’, got a lot of love from the audience. Now the makers have suffered a major setback due to Paresh’s sudden separation from this franchise.

Akshay Kumar has also sent a legal notice to Paresh Rawal. The makers have sought a hefty amount from Paresh Rawal to fulfill the loss. The film’s production house has sued him for Rs 25 crore. At the same time, ‘Hera Pheri 3’ seems to be stuck in a new controversy.

According to Pinkvilla’s report, there is a dispute between Akshay Kumar and Feroz Nadiadwala over the rights of ‘Hera Pheri’. Feroz Nadiadwala had the original rights of Hera Pheri. But some time ago Akshay bought the entire rights of this franchise from Faroj through his production company, Cape of Good Films.

Recently, there were reports that Feroz Nadiadwala still has the rights of the film and he has not given it to Akshay. Now, reacting to this, director Priyadarshan rejected such claims and said that the actor had shown him the papers.

Talking with mid-day, Priyadarshan said, Akshay has purchased the entire rights of Hera Ferry Franchise from Feroz Nadiadwala for Rs 10 crore, who made the first two parts. This is not only for Hera Ferry 3, but for the entire franchise. I know this because I have seen its paperwork.

He said that Akshay Kumar has shown him papers, including papers with Sajid Nadiadwala’s rights. After watching the papers, Priyadarshan agreed to the film.
