This journey is usually completed in 4-5 days.

This route is relatively simple and full of natural scenes.

2. Baltal route (short distance, but hard climbing, about 14 km):

Traveling directly from Baltal to Amarnath cave is traveled on foot or horse.

It can be completed in a single day, but the route is quite steep climbing.

Helicopter option:

Helicopter services are available from Pahalgam to Panchtarni, from where only 6 km walks are left.

This is a convenient option for elderly and physically unable to unable.

How is snow Shivling?

The droplets of water continuously dripping from the roof of the Amarnath cave begin to freeze in the cold environment of the cave.
