Domestic airline companies have issued advisory for passengers amid increasing tension between India and Pakistan. Indian airlines have issued a travel advisory at the airport across the country to give additional time for tight security protocols at airports across the country. Instructions for airport to increase security measures

Air India also said on the social media platform X that passengers across India are advised to reach their respective airports at least three hours before the departure set to ensure smooth check-in and boarding. The check-in is closed 75 minutes before departure.

Another domestic airline Akasa Air issued a travel advisory and wrote in a post- Due to an increase in security measures at all airports across India, we request you to reach the airport at least 3 hours before departure, so that a spontaneous check-in and boarding experience can be ensured.

Please make sure that you take a valid government-oriented photo identity documents for admission to the airport. In addition to your check-in baggage, only one handbag weighing up to 7 kg will be allowed. All passengers will have to undergo a secondary security check before boarding.
