America President Donald Trump has imposed restrictions on India to end the ongoing struggle between Russia and Ukraine. Caroline Levitt, the press secretary of the US President’s official residence and office White House, made this statement on Wednesday. Let us tell you that Donald Trump has put 25 percent tariff on Indian goods coming to America. In addition, the US has imposed an additional 25 percent tariff on India due to purchasing crude oil from Russia, which will be effective from August 27. After this 25 percent of additional tariffs are effective, the total tariff imposed on India by the US will be 50 percent.

Responding to a question asked at the press conference, Levit said that Trump has put tremendous public pressure to end the war between Russia and Ukraine for almost four years. He said, “As you have seen, Trump has taken several steps including restrictions on India. They have made it clear that they want to see this war ending. President Donald Trump wants to end this war between Russia and Ukraine as soon as possible. ”
