Donald Trump made a big statement, said- ‘We are very close to the agreement with India’
US President Donald Trump
Washington: US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday that Washington is “very close” to a trade agreement with India. Talking to reporters during a bilateral meeting with Crown Prince of Bahrain and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa at the Oval Office, Trump said, “We have entered into compromises with many best countries, we are going to have another agreement with India. We are talking to India. We are talking. When I send a letter, it will be compromised.”
What did Donald Trump say?
A day earlier, Trump said that America would have access to Indian markets as work is going on on a trade agreement with the country. He, “We will have a complete access in Indonesia and we have some deals that are going to be announced. India is originally working in the same direction. We will get access to India.” Talking to reporters at the White House on his way to Pittsburgh, Trump said that India and America are mainly negotiating a trade agreement to keep tariffs below 20 percent.
Trump has given such statements before
Let me tell you that this is not the first time President Donald Trump has made such a statement. Recently speaking at the Big Beautiful Bill event, he said that America is going to make a big deal with India. In this event held at the White House, Trump also said that the deal has been done with China.
There are good relations with India
Recently, Trump also said that despite having ‘very good relations’ with India, the ‘only problem’ is that India is one of the highest customs countries in the world. Trump said this during a discussion on America’s relations with India in an interview with American news website ‘Breitebart News’. He also said that I believe that he (India) is going to cut the charges to a great extent.
