The Department of Telecommunications said in its post that 4.5 lakh mobile handsets have been blocked to stop cyber fraud. Apart from this, more than 19 lakh WhatsApp accounts have also been banned. Dot said that more than 74 thousand dealers selling SIM in bulk have been blacklisted. At the same time, 4.2 crore mobile connections have been banned.
