Kanpur, 15 October (Hindustan Reporter). A married woman died under mysterious circumstances on Tuesday in Saket Nagar of Kidwai Nagar police station area. On the complaint of the parents, the police have registered a case of dowry death against 7 people including the engineer husband and started investigation. The police are interrogating the husband by taking him into custody.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Ankita Sharma said that Bharat Lal Mishra, resident of Bhagwan Kheda of Unnao district, had married his 28-year-old daughter Little Mishra with Uday Mishra, resident of Saket Nagar of Kidwai Nagar police station area of Kanpur on 26 June 2023. Uday is an engineer in Bengaluru. Little Mishra died under mysterious circumstances during the day on Tuesday. On receiving information about her death, her parents arrived and filed a complaint against 7 people including her husband, accusing them of dowry death. In this regard, a case has been registered in the local police station under relevant sections and the husband is being detained and interrogated.
