Palpal correspondent, Jabalpur. Ophthalmologist Dr. Pawan Sthapak from Jabalpur, MP has been honored with the Professor Dr. RP Dhanda Award. This award has been given to Dr. Sthapak in the annual conference of Madhya Pradesh State Ophthalmic Society organized at Hotel Radisson in Bhopal.
The chief guest of the program was Dr. Rasik Bihari Bajpai, former head of the ophthalmology department of AIIMS Delhi and currently professor at Melbourne University, Australia, and Dr. Lalit Verma, professor and head of the department of AIIMS Delhi. More than 700 eye specialists from India and abroad were present in this three-day conference. This award is given to an eye doctor who is fully engaged in providing excellent community free eye medical services and impeccable image, social service and quality medical service.
On this occasion, Dr. Pawan Sthapak said that I am grateful to the Madhya Pradesh Ophthalmology Selection Committee that they have encouraged me by recognizing the free eye care service that has been going on continuously for 32 years and the free service work done during the time of Covid. .
