DRDO and Navy have another success

The Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and the Indian Navy have successfully tested indigenously developed multi-Influence Ground Mine (MIGM), which is an important step towards strengthening India’s underwater war capabilities. The MIGM system designed to detect and target enemy ships using several sensors will soon be included in the Indian Navy. Once posted, it will serve as a powerful preventive against the infiltration of enemy ships and submarines in the Indian marine region.

Successful test of under water mine

This test is an important milestone in India’s effort for self -reliance in important defense technologies. In addition, it will prove to be effective in securing marine areas against underwater threats and increasing the capacity of the Navy. DRDO has also shared a video of this test, showing underwater explosion. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has also given a statement on X. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has congratulated DRDO and Navy for this successful testing. Rajnath Singh said, “This system will further enhance the Indian Navy’s underwater war capabilities.”

Migm is equipped with sensors

Regarding this, Bharat Dynamics Limited said, “Migm is equipped with many sensors, which monitors things like sound, magnetic field, pressure, which is produced by sea vessels. Visakhapatnam and Apollo Microsystams Limited and India Dynamics are partners in its production. Let us know that the under -waters have been the center of the world. During the British, American, Japanese and German sea routes, mines were laid.
