DRDO’s ‘Project Vishnu’ will be made for enemies

New Delhi: India is ready to launch another missile to strengthen defense capabilities. After the success of Operation Sindoor, this step of India remains the subject of discussion. In fact, the country is getting ready to test its most refined hypersonic missile, extended tragetized duration hypersonic cruise missile (ET-LDHCM).

This missile has been designed as part of DRDO’s secret project-Vishnu which has evolved specifically using domestic technology. This missile will prove to be a game changer in the coming times and will be extremely deadly for enemies. This missile will have enough potential that it will have the ability to change the balance of power.

What is the specialty of this missile?

After the success of ET-LDHCM, India will have the strength to go deep into China, Pakistan or any enemy’s terrain within a few minutes. His target will be very accurate. This missile can cover a distance of three kilometers in a second at its maximum speed of Mac 8, which is about 11,000 km/h and is eight times more than the speed of sound. According to reports, it is almost impossible for the current radar and air defense systems to stop it at this speed. That is, the enemy’s radar and air defense system will also not be able to stop it.

The engine is also special

The specialty of this missile is that it can destroy enemy’s bases using traditional or nuclear warheads weighing ET-LDHCM 1,000-2,000 kg, equipped with a range of about 1,500 km.

Its engine can maintain hypersonic motion for a long time, which draws air from the atmosphere to burn the fuel. Therefore it is fatal. An impressive ground test of the engine has already been successfully completed by DRDO.

Can maneuver between flight

ET-LDHCM can maneuver in the middle of the flight, and it is made of heat resistant material that can tolerate temperatures up to 2,000 ° C. With the ability to launch from the ground, air or sea, India had never had such strategic options before. But now India is becoming stronger.

And which countries do this missile system?

India now has ET-LDHCM, which has joined the group of select countries that mastered hypersonic missile technology. It also includes America, China and Russia. The missile was designed and built in Hyderabad at Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam missile complex in collaboration with commercial Indian defense companies, which would increase India’s achievement.
