At the same time, due to this, except those areas, the neighboring districts as well as the adjacent states are also affected by the suffocation. Along with this, as soon as the festive season starts, due to the ear-splitting sound of firecrackers and the smoke emanating from them, there is pollution in the environment. Keeping this in mind, Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board has set the time limit for fireworks for the common people on all the festivals and festivals held throughout the year.

Jharkhand State Pollution Control Board has fixed the time for fireworks on Diwali, Chhath and Guru festival. Fireworks can be set off for two hours on these three festivals. Whereas on Christmas and New Year, the time for firing fireworks has been fixed for only 35 minutes. According to the guidelines prepared by the board, firecrackers will be allowed only from 8 pm to 10 pm on the night of Diwali, from 6 am to 8 pm on the day of Chhath, from 8 to 10 pm on Guru festival and from 8 to 10 pm on Christmas and New Year. But fireworks will be allowed from 11:55 pm to 12:30 am on December 31. By setting such a time limit, the possibility of positive changes in pollution control in the state has increased.
