Earthquake in Delhi-NCR, tremors felt for 10 seconds

The earthquake was felt in Delhi on Thursday. The center of the earthquake was in Jhajjar, Haryana. The intensity on the Richter scale here was 4.4. Because of this, earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi and NCR. There is no news of any kind of damage.

Apart from Jind and Bahadurgarh in Haryana, there were shocks in western Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan areas for 10 seconds. In the last six months, there has been an earthquake in Delhi and NCR for the third time. Earlier, there was an earthquake on 19 April and 17 February.

April 19: 5.8 magnitude earthquake, the center was Afghanistan
There was a 5.8 magnitude earthquake in Afghanistan at 12:17 pm on the Richter scale at 12:17 pm. Its impact was felt till Jammu and Kashmir and Delhi-NCR. There was no loss of life and property.

According to the National Center for Sisamology (NCS), the impact of the earthquake was also felt in parts of Jammu and Kashmir. A person in Srinagar told- I was in the office, then my chair shouted. People from some areas were seen running out of homes and offices.

17 February: 4 magnitude earthquake, Center was New Delhi
Earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR at around 5:36 am on February 17. Two and a half hours later, an earthquake also occurred in Siwan, Bihar at 8 am. Earthquake intensity on the Richter scale at both places measured 4 measured.

The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of five km in the ground in New Delhi. People came out of the houses panicked due to the earthquake. However, there was no notice of any kind of damage.
