First step- Put 2 teaspoons of mustard oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, add 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds and a little cumin seeds and let it crackle. Add 8-10 curry leaves and add 1 bark chopped chili to it. Now add 1/4 cup finely chopped onion and cook. Keep gas flame medium only.

Second step- After changing the color of onion lightly, add other vegetables like finely chopped beans, finely chopped capsicum, carrot and green peas. Cover and cook the vegetables until it melts. When the vegetables are cooked lightly, add half a teaspoon of turmeric and cook.

third Step- If you want, you can also add other vegetables like beet or tomatoes along with vegetables. Here we are preparing Oats Poha without tomato. When all the vegetables are melted, it is the turn to put oats in it.

Fourth step- Add 1 cup of plane os in vegetables and mix well. Add salt as per taste. If you are making Oats Poha for weight loss, then you can keep the amount of oats slightly less in it. Now take water on the palm 2-3 times and sprinkle it on the oats.

Fifth step- Now cover and let Oats Poha cook in steam for 3-4 minutes on low flame. Now once open the oats and check. If the oats look more dry, sprinkle some more water and cover it for some more time. If the oats are soft, turn off the gas and squeeze the green coriander and some lemon juice and cover it.
