The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is now ready to tighten the screws on many big stars of South. The ED on Monday sent summons to the celebrities like Vijay Devarakonda, Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj and Lakshmi Maanchu to appear before the ED. The Enforcement Directorate has summoned these artists in the illegal betting app case. The ED has asked these actors to appear before the ED in the last week of July and the first week of August. The allegations claimed that these stars of South Cinema promoted these betting platforms through online pop-up advertisements, encouraging people to play illegal betting.

Accused of promoting illegal speculative apps

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has sent summons to several celebrities including Rana Daggubati, Vijay Devarakonda, Prakash Raj and Lakshmi Maanu for promoting illegal online speculative apps. These artists are accused of promoting illegal speculative apps. According to sources, all these artists promoted such apps on social media which have been declared illegal in the country.

Film stars date for summons

The Enforcement Directorate has instructed Rana Daggubati to appear on 23 July, Prakash Raj on 30 July, Vijay Devarakonda on 6 August and Lakshmi Maanchu on August 13. ED investigation has revealed that thousands of crores of transactions have been done through these apps and these stars were given a hefty amount for these promotions. At present, summons have been sent to all and ED is preparing for inquiry.
